I love this shot because though his hair is light, he's got lots of it!
we got out to throw a disc twice in the last week - just like old times! The ultimate flame still burns bright with this one... grateful the rain relented for a bit to make it possible ;)
Justin and I decided to add shutters to our cute farm house. They are going to look so good! We are going to paint them navy, and I'm going to repaint the front door to match the shutters. Later - when the sun decides it would like to stick around for longer than 20 minutes - we will have the 2nd story painted and add shutters. I'm also itching to add a window box - I can't wait for SUMMER!!
I've had a bit of frustration in my calling - I was asked to put together a ward activity for March two weeks ago, so I hustled to put together a "March Madness" Bunco Tournament - only to get a text this morning that they are cancelling it. Ugh - Initially I was annoyed for being asked last minute - then I came up with the awesome idea and got excited about throwing a party which EVERYONE needs this time of year (thank you birthday month for giving me reason to party this time of year regardless) - only to be told it's canceled. Not rescheduled - just not gonna happen. Boooo. I had dice brownies and swag bags in the works! Oh well. Maybe Justin and I will host our own March Madness bunco tournament.
Justin has been doing little surprises for me for birthday month. Saturday I woke up to Chick fil A breakfast and a family sized bag of peanut m&m's in the afternoon ;) We went to the temple last week - it had been a while and it was worth the time and effort. I had listened to Elder Holland and Elder Eyring's face-to-face interview that morning. They talked about making room for quiet moments for the Lord to answer our prayers - I felt a lot of answers come in those quiet moments.
My mom would sing this song as I was growing up. I called her the other day and made her sing it to me slow so I could write it down and learn the words. Passing along the Hart tradition
