9 months and more

We took family pics with our photographer last week. She gave us a sneak peak - I'm so excited to see the rest!
Emmett's 9 month update: he's in the 70% percentile for height and 15% for weight - tall and skinny! He breastfed for 9 months - after adding solids to his diet, my milk supply shut down and never recovered. I'm so happy I was able to breastfeed for so long! Holy smokes it saved us a lot of money! 8-9 months had a lot of changes. He babbles all the time, is pulling himself up to standing on everything he can find, and walks along the couch, bench, wall, etc. He's sleeping through the night, says "dadadada" and he looooves his mommy! I sure love him!
post-bath and ready for bed ;)
I did a Mother's Day bazaar in a new community called Tehelah with one of my unit members - she is from Trinidad and has the coolest accent!

At his 9 month check up
MK launched a new charcoal mask - it is crazy. It washes off rather than peels and is infused with lavender and peppermint so it has a cooling sensation as you apply it. Crazy fun!

After, during, and before on my painting-the-front-door project - my cute yellow wreath will go on the door after it cures completely.

my painting buddy!

As of May 1st I became a sales director with MK! These gals are the other sales directors in our area. We have a monthly makeover event and I got to teach the class! I love getting up, getting cute, and loving my everyday with my MK biz!
My sister sales director SuAnne Eaton - it was her birthday and she loooves to celebrate all month long!
Me and my party planning crew for the ward - we threw a "Cinco de Mayo" party the first week of May. Justin and I did all the sweet pork, rice, and beans. People went nuts about the meat, so we were pleased with the turnout and the feedback.

We had 3 different pinatas for different age groups - next year we definitely need to do an adult pinata
Justin ran the churro station - he made the dough and fried it on the spot! People added whatever toppings afterward.
This is what you get when you ask an eight year old to take your picture

9 months in...
9 months out! I gained 37 pounds with this boy and held onto the last 5 pounds all while breastfeeding. As soon as my milk supply dried up, my belly fat went away! Lots of women lose weight while breastfeeding...but my body was holding onto those last pounds. I'm glad to say bu-bye to them.

Mitzi sent me an extra "Treat yo Self" t-shirt - I love it!
he's a bottomless pit - he ate two bowls of oatmeal and plum for breakfast!

I'm loving my azaleas this spring with the red flowers! They look fabulous with our house - I wish they stayed red all year long.
our morning routine - he goes through all the drawers while I get ready.

It's been a wet spring. We've had...probably 4 nice days in the past 4 weeks. We are all totally over it! Rain all last week... I got a new calling and am now the bear cub scout den leader! I'm excited to work with all the kids, and to get an idea of what I have coming with my little guy.

We're excited for summer and our plans - we have a vacation in June that is getting closer and closer! In July we'll travel to Arco and Dallas - lots of exciting things to look forward to.
